Hello! This blog is to detail my current job. Exciting, right? 🙂
I am currently teaching English to adorable kindergarteners and elementary school students in South Korea. My contract is for a year and I want to be able to remember as many details as possible.
I had two friends teaching overseas (one in Korea and one in Japan) and when both decided to renew their contracts for an additional year, I decided to look into it myself. I was doing well at my last job (actually just about ready for a promotion) but wanted to see what this was all about.
I’ve thought about teaching before, but this was a chance to check it out without having get a degree in education. Now, I’m doing it and loving it. Sure, it’s a huge adjustment to life back home, but it’s worth it. And I’m saving money AND getting to travel. Sounds like a good thing to me. Plus, what a great way to pay down those awful student loans from my years at my university.
So, this is my story.
My main purpose is to be able to keep track of my journey and experiences here, but if I’m able to help inspire you too….then even better!

Quotes that Inspire:
❤ Love this. ^
This is your life. Be kind. Work hard. Respect others and treat them how you want to be treated. Again, this is your life. You only get one shot. Live it with everything you’ve got. Time waits for no one.
This is my own personal little motto. I hope to live this to the day I die. (Which, hopefully isn’t anytime soon. I’m not finished making my mark here yet. :))
